ABOUT WE PEAK
A center built around all four TOEFL skills — in small classes.
Most students don't need "more TOEFL practice" — they need to know exactly which habit is costing them points, and on which section. We Peak has been teaching Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking together for over two years, in classes small enough that every student gets real feedback, every session.
Classes are capped at 5 students. That's what makes it possible to run real task types every time — academic lecture questions for listening, timed reading passages, structured writing tasks, and listen-and-repeat and interview-style drills for speaking — with a teacher who actually knows where each student is stuck.
MEET THE TEACHERS
The people behind every class.
Mr. Ben
Mr. Ben has spent six years teaching English, the last three focused entirely on TOEFL — helping students close the exact gap between where their score is and where it needs to be. That focus comes from a deliberate path: a four-year degree in Political Science, a TEFL certification, and a master's degree in Globalization in Education, plus years teaching in Korea before he started working with TOEFL students specifically.
Across the subjects he teaches, he is able to help students build the confidence to actually speak English, while still making the corrections that move their score forward. He started teaching TOEFL specifically to help students reach the goals they were aiming for, and those goals still shape every class he teaches.
Ms. Shandra
Ms. Shandra is fully bilingual, having spent her school years in Wisconsin and Michigan before graduating top of her class in International Business on a scholarship in Shanghai. She's taught TOEFL Speaking and Writing for 12 years across Korea, Qingdao, Shanghai, and Vietnam, carefully diagnosing why students fall short of their target score and building the fluency to close that gap.
Her students have gone on to top universities in Korea, and her adult students have used their scores to enter graduate programs and land jobs at major companies abroad.
